The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is celebrating one year to opening of the new Barrie YMCA Centre of Community with a community-wide Block Party!

As part of Doors Open Barrie, we’re inviting the community to come together at the future home of the new Barrie YMCA for a fun, family-friendly day. Get a closer look at the progress being made, learn more about what’s coming to the community, and celebrate this exciting milestone with us.

The Block Party will feature:

• A look at the progress of the new Barrie YMCA Centre of Community

• Outdoor fitness classes and activities

• Special announcements and community celebrations

• Family-friendly games, crafts and activities

• Nature-focused activities

• Community partners and local organizations

• Fun for all ages!

Whether you’re a longtime YMCA supporter, a future member, a nearby neighbour, or simply curious about what’s being built at 535 Bayview Drive, everyone is welcome!

Join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone and look ahead to the opening of a new Centre of Community that will bring people together, support health and well-being, and create opportunities for people of all ages and stages of life.

This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine, weather permitting.
