You are invited and encouraged to bring along colleagues who carry out hiring for your organization. Plan to attend to learn more about the benefits of hiring international talent from Georgian College, Simcoe County and across the province.
Keynote speaker:
Allison Corbett, Employer Liaison Officer with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (previously Citizenship and Immigration Canada) will discuss the federal government’s new Express Entry program for skilled immigrants. She will also answer questions about hiring international talent from within Canada.
Representatives from the County of Simcoe's Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) will offer information about local immigration trends and statistics as well as provide a business case for hiring international talent.
Georgian College will showcase opportunities for hiring students and graduates through the Centre for Co-operative Education and Career Success.
