About the Speaker: Ian G. McIntosh, IGM Photography
Ian is not only one of Barrie’s top photographers. He is also co-owner of Flourish Vitality Yoga. When the pandemic temporarily forced the closure of businesses throughout the world, Ian and his partner-in-everything, Joanne Lougheed, decided to take Flourish online and do it well. They streamed their first class on March 16, 2020, now offering live-streamed and scheduled recordings of classes to their students, as well as on-demand classes to their VIP members. In the next month they will be expanding their fully-fledged online yoga studio through their website that will also utilize social media.
Most recently, Ian was brought in to provide the tech for the City of Toronto’s Bloom Cam 24/7 YouTube live-stream. He is honoured to be part of the team that is bringing the beauty of High Park’s cherry blossoms to the citizens of Toronto and people around the world.
As an ambassador of the Barrie Chamber, Ian is very active and loves to help other members become involved and get the most of their membership. He is involved in many community projects and can be seen quite often capturing images of Barrie’s beautiful waterfront.
