BE PREPARED FOR PROPOSED LEGISLATION CHANGES THAT AFFECT BUSINESSES
Join us on November 2, 2017 when Eric Gionet from Dooley Lucenti, Jeff Nixon from Lardner Nixon, and Marty Rabinovitch from DEVRY SMITH FRANK LLP explore workarounds or possible strategies to cope with these changes. The format will include presentations from each panelist, with time allotted for Q&A.
This year, both the provincial and federal government have proposed legislation that will alter the way organizations of all sizes will do business and undertake tax planning. As part of the Ontario and Canadian Chamber networks, we have actively advocated on behalf of business with some positive results.
While we have experienced some wins, it is time to consider how we are going to deal with the changes that are still on the table, especially since both governments are holding a majority. With this in mind, our Advocacy Committee has put together a small panel of experts that will provide practical tools to help you work towards protecting and preparing your business.

If you haven't had the chance to make it out to any of our past CBBs, come and see for yourself what a great opportunity networking can be. Sponsored by The Mortgage Wellness Group, CBBs are held on the first Thursday of each month from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Members are encouraged to bring their flyers, brochures, business cards and other promotional material to share and display. For a nominal charge, a full hot breakfast is served.
Please Register before 2:30 p.m. on the day prior to the event. Registrations after that time may not be accepted.
If you are unable to attend, please call 721-5000 to cancel before 12:00 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the event. Those who are pre-registered but do not attend and have not canceled will be charged for breakfast.
