The parade will leave Tiffin/Lakeshore at 5pm sharp.
Location
Floats for the parade will enter the Marshalling Area at Minet's Point & Lakeshore between 2pm and 4pm the day of the parade. The float order will be determined by the order of arrival. Bands will be inserted into the parade as appropriate to ensure they are spaced well. The parade itself will depart from Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street, then North on Bradford to Dunlop, then through Downtown Barrie, where we will be part of the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting festivities!
Fees/Admission
FLOAT ENTRIES are: All floats must be decorated in the theme of the parade. The parade is intended for the enjoyment of children rather than for the promotion of any particular business. The only commercial vehicles that will be permitted to participate in the parade are those actually pulling the floats; no stand-alone vans, trucks, etc.
$100 for commercial businesses
$50 for non-commercial organizations

Description
The Barrie Chamber of Commerce is pleased to have a longstanding partnership with Santa; he joins us each year for this fun night parade that features fantastic lights, colours, and music.
This year's parade is scheduled for 5pm on Saturday November 21st, 2015, and the theme will be "My Favourite Christmas Song" - we expect that our floats will pull in some really creative ideas from the wide variety of songs available, tying in the visuals from movies, tv, books, and plays to make this our most fun parade yet!
We will be traveling the same route again this year, departing from Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street, then North on Bradford to Dunlop, then through Downtown Barrie, where we will be part of the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting festivities!
