The Gigantic in Contemporary Art with Christina Mancuso Friday, September 9,12:15 to 1:00 pm The Rotary Education Centre at the MacLaren Admission free Join MacLaren Education Officer Christina Mancuso and learn all about the gigantic in art from the Pop Art of Oldenburg to the monumental presence of Mueck?s figurative works. A short tour of Henri Robideau's work in The Gianthropological Resource Centre will follow. Christina Mancuso has a MFA in Visual Art from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a BFA from Concordia University in Montréal. As a museum educator, college art professor and art teacher (K to 12), she possesses a wide range of skills and experiences. She has led many community arts initiatives engaging participants from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Mancuso has been the head of the MacLaren Art Centre?s Education Department since 2009.
