About Us

The Small Business Centre for Barrie, Simcoe County and Orillia gives entrepreneurs the assistance they need to start and grow their businesses and meet their entrepreneurial aspirations. This Centre is one of 54 offices across Ontario that provide support to new and existing businesses through tools and resources needed to evaluate ideas and decide if entrepreneurship is right for you.

Services are free and include:
- Idea feasibility and guidance
- One-on-one consultations and business plan reviews
- Coaching for a range of business challenges including growth strategies, start-up advice, managing cash flow, hiring and managing staff, sales, marketing, and more
- Webinars, workshops, and full training & grant programs
- Referrals to other business support services, mentors, governmental organizations, and more
