Mikela Bergevin graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. She furthered her education at Western University, where she obtained a Diploma in Pedorthics with distinction.

With a deep interest in human movement and biomechanics, Mikela brings a unique perspective to her practice, informed by her experience as a former competitive mogul skier. Her athletic background not only fuels her passion for biomechanics but also gives her firsthand insight into the challenges of injury recovery.

Dr. Maria Cichalewski

Chiropractor

Dr. Cichalewski offers various treatments including spinal manipulative therapy, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitative exercise. She is passionate about empowering patients to actively participate in their care and implement changes that lead to lasting results.

She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in recognition of her academic achievements. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario.

Samantha Clingen

Registered Massage Therapist

Samantha Clingen, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist in Barrie who provides evidence-based, client-centered massage therapy to support injury recovery, pain relief, and performance. 

Her background includes working with varsity athletes, League1 men’s soccer players, and patients in a physiotherapy setting. She is trained in sports massage therapy, cupping, taping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and also completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys hiking, canoeing, snowboarding, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays.

Katy Dempster

Registered Massage Therapist

Katy utilizes deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point therapy, stretching and joint mobilization techniques in her massage approach and works with patients to develop at-home strategies to prolong and improve positive results. She has experience working with children, seniors, athletes, women throughout pregnancy and postnatal recovery and those with complex illness.

Dr. Lucrecia Hardowar

Dr. Lucrecia Hardowar, DC is a dedicated chiropractor who believes in individualized, patient-centered care built on partnership, education, and empowerment. 

Dr. Lucrecia specializes in prenatal and postnatal care, pediatrics and infant chiropractic, and post-athletic injury recovery. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and holds a Bachelor of Specialized Science in Kinesiology and Psychology. She is certified in prenatal/postnatal care, pediatric and infant chiropractic, various soft tissue therapies, and is a licensed Webster.

Jon Lawrance

Registered Physiotherapist

As a Physical Therapist, Jon believes in utilizing hands-on techniques to restore people's movement, minimize pain, and restore peoples independence. He has a sports background having played CIS hockey, and previously held certification in the strength and conditioning field. It is his goal to work with patients to educate them on the nature of their injury, utilize up to date techniques to improve their function, and provide patients with the exercises and tools to not only correct the given issue but prevent issues of a similar nature from re-occurring.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys playing sports - especially Hockey, eh!

Natasha Minas

Registered Physiotherapist + Pelvic Floor Specialist

Natasha has a special interest in working with the paediatric population and people of all abilities. With extensive experience in paediatric physiotherapy, she loves working with children and their families to achieve their goals. Natasha also has a special interest in Pelvic Health, and has experience from Australia in Women’s Health postpartum, and has completed her Level 1 and Level 2 Pelvic Health courses.

In her spare time, Natasha loves to spend time with her Golden Retriever, hike, read, travel and go for surf trips!

Dan Steffens

Born and raised in Barrie, Dan is the proud owner and founder of MyoDynamic. He specializes in the design and manufacture of custom orthotics, compression stockings, custom knee braces, orthopaedic footwear, and advanced foot care products. 

MyoDynamic began as a local pedorthic clinic in Barrie and has since grown into a trusted, multi-disciplinary health clinic serving the community.

Dan earned an Honours degree in Biological Science (Human Kinetics) from the University of Guelph and completed his post-graduate Diploma in Pedorthics with distinction at the University of Western Ontario.

Michelle Steffens

Director of Operations

Michelle has a background in Marketing and Advertising Communications and was raised in a family of business owners. She takes immense pride in fostering relationships with both staff and patients. Delivering superior customer service is always top of mind, and ensuring that Myo is a welcoming and exciting work environment keeps her on her toes.

Outside of work, Michelle loves the great outdoors. There's nothing quite like enjoying some sunshine on a boat ride. You can find Michelle on a beach volleyball court, on a soccer field, or sitting dock-side. She also happens to be head over heels in love with her whole wide world; her hubby and two adorable kiddos!
