McKnight â?¢ Charron â?¢ Laurin Inc. has a very broad base of experience. We work on alterations, renovations, historical restorations, additions and new buildings.
We provide Full Architectural Services including:
Owner and User needs assessments.
Feasibility studies, concept design re-zoning applications, site plan control applications and Ontario Building Code interpretation.
Liaising with financial institutions and other funding organizations, meeting with board staff, committees and legal staff as required.
Overseeing the approvals process, liaising with local building departments, government agencies and completing government forms.
Co-ordinating soils and survey work.
Budget development and budget control.
Design development, working drawing and specification development, tendering, tender analysis and contract negotiation.
Project management and construction time tabling, and construction review.
Progress draw analysis, Contemplated Change Notices, Change Orders, and Site Instructions.
Substantial completion, deficiency correction control, project closeout and warranty enforcement and correction.


Our primary focus is on providing our Clients with outstanding service from the initial meeting through design and construction on into contract closeout and over the warranty period.


The principals of the firm will be available at all times to meet with Client staff, committees, and during the construction phase with the General Contractor.
