About Us

The Kempenfelt Rotary Club was chartered in 1999 with approximately 40 members and has been an active and vital part of our community since. It is one of three Rotary Clubs in Barrie

We are proud to say we have been very active in providing service and funding to both our local and international communities. Our annual projects include our Colt For The Day, Battle of The Bands, Kids Fishing Day, Kempenfelt Derby and 100 Holes of Golf.

Our fundraising activities have supported numerous local organizations including the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Georgian College, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Women and Children's Shelter, Hospice Simcoe and others.

Kempenfelt Rotarians accomplish a great deal and we also have a lot of fun together! Our members enjoy well attended social events including euchre nights, a Christmas party, and of course, the President's Bash to thank our outgoing President and welcome the new President.

We are an energetic group of like minded community leaders who enjoy fellowship and working together in service for our community. New members are always welcome and bring vitality to the club.

We meet every Wednesday at 7am for social gathering. The meeting formally begins at 7:15am in the Traditions Banquet Hall at Sheba Shrine 142 John St. Barrie.
