Innisvale offers many options when you’re planning end of life decisions. Whether burial, cremation or scattering, there is a place for everyone and any religion at our cemetery.
Customarily, the tradition for full casket burial still has its place at Innisvale. Our newest development is the Muslim section, serving the community of the Barrie Mosque and surrounding areas offering great opportunity to this religious group. For many years we’ve also had our Jewish section servicing the needs of the congregation of Am Shalom synagogue.
Though in recent years more and more people are opting for cremation allowing loved ones to select various interment settings.
Granite outdoor niches are still amongst the favored selection for placing your loved ones urn, adorned with a bronze plaque. Innisvale also offers indoor glass front niches. These offer families a unique aspect of remembering their loved one by memorializing their chosen location with a decorative reminder or that special keepsake that is all about the life once lived.
The in-ground cremation plot is simple and classic at the same time. It allows up to two persons to be buried in the same plot with either a flat granite marker or a flat bronze marker noting their names and dates of birth and of their passing.
Innisvale’s most recent addition to the cremation burial service is the “Memorial Scattering Garden”. A pond was added to the property several years ago allowing Innisvale to enhance its features by create a scattering garden.
