About Us

Independent Living Services Simcoe County is a CARF Accredited non-profit agency that helps people remain active members of their communities and thrive as independent individuals in their own homes. We provide individualized personal support services for activities of daily living for adults living with permanent physical disabilities and seniors aging at home. Our personal support services are funded by the Government of Ontario and clients direct their own care. ILS is proud of our programs that support people to lead safe, independent, dignified, and productive lives in their community. ILS also provides guidance through our Accessibility Resources & Connections program to connect people to resources for assistive devices, home health equipment, home or vehicle modifications, funding, and accessibility-related information.
