About Us

A Church In Revival
Catch The Fire Church Barrie is part of a family of churches and ministries worldwide that was birthed as a result of the incredible revival that began in Toronto in 1994.

Catch The Fire encompasses a growing network of churches, a college with International Schools of Ministry, a missions program and events running all over the world.

Our desire at Catch The Fire Church Barrie is to build a church family who loves God's presence, loves each other and reaches out in love to others in the community.

The Hub
This is our office, as well as our ministry center where we meet for certain small groups, prayer, training and soaking during the week. Our church services are location at another location.

Our Mandate
ENCOUNTERING GOD'S TRANSFORMING PRESENCE
In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus commands us to ''Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

At Catch The Fire we believe we can accomplish this mandate through a three-way journey of encountering God, letting God transform our hearts, which then enables us to let God's love overflow from us to others.

ENCOUNTER
The Upward Journey
We value the importance of having encounters with God, through worship, prayer, and reading the Word of God. We want to experience the reality of God in our everyday lives.

''The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.'' (John 14:21b)
